The 7th Annual Boston Local Food Festival was Sunday, September 18, 2016 and hosted by the Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts. For one spectacular day each year, the SBN transforms the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway and the City of Boston into the nation’s largest local & sustainable food hub! Boston Local Food Festival is a free outdoor festival that attracts over 150 local food vendors and 50,000 localvores to the Greenway. The Festival features farmers, local restaurants, a family fun zone, food trucks, chef demos, specialty food producers, fisher folks, and organizations focusing on healthy food and fitness from New England.
Alice Kathryn Richardson is a new media photojournalist and creator of The Clean Food Club. She previously spent two years working on Deserts in the District, a series of short-form documentaries exploring food access and hunger in Washington, DC.
